Shelf Pin Function
- Fixed pin spacing — produces the standard 32mm shelf-pin spacing used in European-system cabinet construction; holes line up across cabinet sides automatically
- Edge registration — indexes off the cabinet side edge for consistent hole-to-edge distance on every panel without re-measuring
- Depth stop — limits the drill bit to the correct shelf pin depth; won't drill through the panel side
Hinge Function
- Hinge cup position — positions the 35mm Forstner bit for European concealed hinges at the correct distance from the door edge and door top/bottom
- Single setup per door — register the jig once per door edge; drill both hinges from the same reference without moving the fence
How it's built
- Aluminum alloy body — dimensionally stable through temperature and humidity changes that affect plastic jigs
- Hardened drill bushings — the bit runs through steel, not the jig body, so the hole position stays accurate across a full cabinet job's worth of holes
- Flip stops — quickly position for top or bottom hinge without re-measuring from scratch
